Three charged with attempted murder after shots fired at Lisburn home

Three men have been charged with attempted murder over a shooting incident at a flat in Lisburn.

The men aged 24, 30 and 31 have also been charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

The 24-year-old was further charged with possessing a Class B controlled drug. And the 31-year-old charged with using a motor vehicle without insurance and failing to stop for police.

They are due to appear in Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

The incident happened at a flat on Ballynahinch Road at around 1.45am on Wednesday when four shots were fired.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
