Three men arrested in connection with Co Londonderry burglary
Three men have been arrested in connection with a burlgary in Co Londonderry.
The men, aged 23, 39 and 55 were arrested on Friday when the BMW car they were travelling in was stopped by police in the King Street area of Magherafelt.
Detective Sergeant Keith Wilson said "Shortly before 1pm the driver of the BMW was arrested on suspicion of a number of traffic offences. Two passengers in the BMW made off but were subsequently apprehended by police and both were arrested on suspicion of burglary. All three are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
"Two police cars and another vehicle were damaged in the incident. The officers and the driver of the other vehicle were uninjured."
