Three men charged after 'cigarettes stolen' during Belfast robbery
Three men have been charged after a quantity of cigarettes were stolen during a robbery at a shop in east Belfast.
It is alleged a man entered the shop in the Kings Road area at around 7.30pm on Monday and forced a female staff member to fill bags with cigarettes before making off in a silver BMW car being driven by another man.
Police located the car a short time later on Grace Street.
A quantity of cigarettes was also recoverd.
Two of the men, aged 34 and 46, have been charged with the offences of false imprisonment and robbery and are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
A third man, aged 56, has been charged with handling stolen goods and is scheduled to appear at Belfast Magistrate's Court on Friday, 28th June.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service
