Three men held by PSNI in series of drug raids

By Staff Reporter

Three men have been arrested across Northern Ireland on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine and money laundering offences.

Large quantities of cash were found during searches by officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch during the operation on Saturday.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop said the men were arrested at locations in Belfast, Dunmurry and Ballymena.

All three were taken to Musgrave police station for questioning.

"This intelligence-led drugs trafficking investigation is at an early stage," he added.

"We are determined to identify, pursue and arrest anyone suspected of involvement in this illegal activity.

"The public expect us to take firm, decisive action against such people.

"We will continue to do just that."

He added that information about drugs crime can be passed to police on the non-emergency number 101, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
