Three men stabbed in north Belfast brawl outside bar

Three men have been treated for stab wounds after a brawl outside a pub in north Belfast.

The incident happened in the Cliftonville Road area on Thursday, November 20.

Shortly after 9.30pm it was reported that an altercation took place close to a public house on the Cliftonville Road.

Three men aged 21, 23 and 26 were treated in hospital for stab wounds.

The 21-year-old and 26-year-old were later arrested and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

The 23-year-old man remains in a stable condition in hospital.

A property in the Clifton Crescent area was also damaged.

Detective Sergeant Kenneth Leckey appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information that may assist police with the investigation to contact CID at Tennent Street Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
