Three people rushed to hospital following two vehicle crash in Co Antrim
Three people have been taken to hospital following a two vehicle crash in Co Antrim.
The incident happened at 3.23pm on Thursday on Upper Road near Greenisland.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service sent two rapid response paramedics, two emergency ambulance crews and one intermediate care vehicle to the incident.
After assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were transported to Antrim Area Hospital and a third was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital.
A spokeswoman for the Northern Health and Social Care Trust said the two patients being treated in Antrim were both in a stable condition.
The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust declined to give an update on the condition of the patient in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
The PSNI has said the Old Carrick Road has been closed.
