Timeline of killer McEntee's movements

Thomas McEntee visited hospitals four times in the days before he killed Mike and Marjorie Cawdery on May 26 last year.

Four days before the killings, his sister called police to say he was suffering from mental health issues. The PSNI took him to the Mater Hospital for assessment and later dropped him at a train station.

Two days before the attack, he waited to be seen at Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry. It's understood he left and returned to the hospital later that night.

Early on the day of the killings McEntee visited his sister in Bessbrook and appeared to be injured. At 10am, Daisy Hill's mental health team reported a naked man shouting outside. Police restrained him and he was transferred to Craigavon Area Hospital.

While a nurse attempted to take blood he left the hospital, and shortly after midday he stole a bottle of wine from an off-licence. At 12.25pm, he broke into the Cawdery's family home, police were informed 15 minutes later he had left the hospital.

By 3.15pm, Charles Little had seen McEntee flee the scene and police arrested him later that day in a field surrounded by cattle.
