Tractor tribute to help out charity

The tractor run in Mr Sloss's memory will be held this Saturday, with proceeds going to the Christian Tearfund charity.

It will leave the family farm at Druminard at 3pm and pass through Coagh, Cookstown, Moneymore and The Loup.

Tractors will be on display and enthusiasts are welcome to bring along their machines for exhibition.

The 52-year-old's widow Roberta, who is 51, said the event is in memory of her late husband who passed away tragically on October 14, 2016.

"Alistair was a farmer who liked tractors and he liked machinery so the children thought this would be a fitting tribute to him," she said.
