Traffic diverted following Dromore lorry crash

By Staff Reporter

Motorists were advised to use an alternative route last night following a lorry crash on the Ballynahinch Road out of Dromore.

The road was closed at Ballyvicknakelly Orange Hall where the lorry appeared to have crashed into a wall.

Police said the road was expected to be closed for some time until the lorry is recovered.

Officers said there were "thankfully no bad injuries" but that the lorry has "seen better days".

Officers posting on Facebook said: "Please find an alternative route until then. Also, don't ignore the road closed signs. As you can see from this photo, closed means closed."
