By Laura Abernethy

A young community nurse, who died suddenly last week, has been buried in her wedding dress just months before she was due to get married.

Lindsey Coulter (27), from Fivemiletown, was buried at St John’s Church on Tuesday - the same church where she had been planning to marry her fiancée Brian in October.

She collapsed and died at a gym while she was exercising on a treadmill at Colebrooke Fitness on Friday, according to the Fermanagh Herald.

In a statement, the gym said: “It is with deep sadness that one of our members Lindsey Coulter has passed away suddenly. Everyone at Colebrooke Fitness would like to offer their deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Lindsey was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.”

Her parents Maurice and Helen, sister Alison and Fiancée Brian paid tribute and said she would be “lovingly remembered by her family and all the family circle.”

Friends also took to social media to remember the former Fivemiletown college pupil.

One said: “She was a brilliant lassie. She was full of fun always up for a good laugh & such a kind person, it's so hard to take in that she's gone from this world, all I can say is live for today as tomorrow isn't promised Rest in peace Lindsey you were a gem.”

Another added: “Thinking tonight of Lindsey Coulter who had beautiful plans for her fiancè & herself, it's devastating how things can change so quickly.”
