Translink left red-faced after GAA and Rugby social media mix-up
Translink were left red-faced on Thursday night after they mixed-up their GAA and Rugby on social media.
The blunder came while promoting their special offer for the GAA All Ireland Qualifiers in Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday July 29.
But rather than accompanying it with the distinctive GAA goal posts - they instead used the rugby goal posts.
However eagle-eyed Twitter users were quick to point out the mistake and the tweet was swiftly deleted after their social media manager light-heartedly replied "my bad".
The image was then replaced.
A Translink spokeswoman said: “An incorrect image was posted on our social media account.
“Once the error was recognised, a quick conversion took place.”
