Tributes to homeless woman who died in Belfast city centre
Touching tributes have been left in memory of a homeless woman who died in Belfast city centre.
The woman’s body was discovered on Saturday morning outside a shop front on Donegall Place in Belfast city centre.
Police have said a crime is not suspected and a post mortem is due to be carried out to determine the cause of death.
The death of the woman aged in her 30s brings the total number of homeless people or those who were receiving help from charities to five.
A shrine has been created in the doorway of a shop in Belfast to the woman known only as Catherine.
Earlier today volunteer group Hope Outreach For The Homeless laid flowers along with the woman's family.
Funeral mass will be held at 9am at Saint Patrick's Chapel Downpatrick on Wednesday March 23.
