Truck full of sweets stolen in Northern Ireland

Police are appealing to information after a lorry containing a large amount of confectionery was taken in Armagh.

Sometime between 3pm and 6pm on Sunday, a parked car in a yard at Monaghan Road in Middletown was broken into and keys for the lorry taken.

The thieves then made off in the blue Scania truck which had a silver curtain side trailer.

Police have appealed for anyone with any information which could assist officers with their enquiries to contact police in Armagh on 101 quoting reference number 1016 26/02/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
