The twin brother of a murder victim in Lurgan questioned by police investigating the killing has been released.

Police arrested the 45-year-old, believed to be from Lithuania, after his twin brother's body was discovered in a Lurgan apartment block on Sunday.

Police were called to the scene on Victoria Street at around 2.15pm. The man has not been named and no details of his injuries have been released.

Police were given additional time to question the 45-year-old man. He was released in the early hours of Wednesday morning on police bail pending further enquiries.

The PSNI has appealed for any information in relation to the new investigation, asking the public to call detectives in Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 769 of August 6, 2017.
