Police are investigating a sick Twitter insult aimed at the young Celtic superfan who won the Scottish Premier League Goal of the Month award.
A tweet was sent from an account describing Lurgan lad Jay Beatty (11), who has Down's syndrome, a "disabled piece of s***."
The vicious online attack came after little Jay won the hearts of fans as he picked up his prize at Celtic Park on Sunday.
He was brought onto the pitch at half-time during the Hoops' match with Aberdeen, and re-staged the penalty kick that won 97% of January's votes.
The stadium filled with applause and cheering as little Jay received his award from Celtic midfielder Charlie Mulgrew.
Other Twitter users reacted furiously to the insult, calling on Police Scotland to track down and arrest the person behind it.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We have received a complaint about an offensive comment being made online following the Scottish Premiership league match between Celtic Football Club and Aberdeen Football Club.
"Our inquiries continue."
