Two men have been arrested in Omagh as part of an ongoing investigation into a parade in Lurgan.

A small number of men wearing military garb and sunglasses with scarves partially covered their faces to walk through the Kilwilkie estate.

The event to commemorate the Easter Rising had not secured the required permission from the Parades Commission.

Two men aged 46 and 23, were arrested in the Omagh area on Monday morning on suspicion of offences under the Public Processions Act & Section 13 of the Terrorism Act  as part of an ongoing investigation into an unnotified parade in the Lurgan area on April 15 2017.

Both are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
