Two people have been arrested in connection with a murder in Northern Ireland.

Malcolm McKeown, 54, was discovered dead in his car behind a filling station in Waringstown, Co Down, in August.

He had been shot six times.

A PSNI statement said: “Detectives from PSNI’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Malcolm McKeown in Waringstown in August have arrested two men aged 62 and 51 years old in the Warringstown area earlier today, Wednesday 18 December.

“They have been taken to Musgrave PSNI Station for questioning.”
