Two charged in connection with £750k drugs haul
Two men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A controlled drugs and conspiracy to supply Class B controlled drugs.
Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit arrested the men, aged 27 and 43, in Lisburn and Londonderry on Tuesday.
Police said the arrests were linked to the seizure of a substantial quantity of cocaine and herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of over £750,000 that were seized from a vehicle that was stopped by police in Belfast on February 8 2017.
A house was also searched in the Buncrana Road area of Derry as part of the operation. A number of mobile phones were seized.
The men are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court on Thursday.
