Two hospitalised after crash outside Ballymoney

Two people have been hospitalised after a crash outside of Ballymoney.

Just before 8pm on Friday night the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) was called out to the two-car crash at the junction of Frosses Road and Kirk Road on the edge of the town.

Members of the PSNI and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service also attended.

A spokesman for NIAS confirmed it two Accident and Emergency crews at the scene.

After assessment and initial treatment at the scene two patients were taken to Causeway Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
