Two injured in Banbridge 'serious' crash - Air Ambulance sent to scene

Two people have been injured in a serious crash in Co Down.

The incident happened on the Aughnacloy Road at The Corbet near Banbridge at around 6.30pm on Saturday.

Paramedics and the Air Ambulance were sent to the scene along with the Fire Service.

The road remains closed as emergency services deal with the scene.

Police diversions are in place.

Those injured were taken to the Royal in Belfast and Craigavon Area Hospital. There are no details as to their injuries.
