Two men have been arrested following the attempted bomb attack and murder of a part time police officer in Dungiven in April.
The suspects aged 36 and 44 were arrested in Derry-Londonderry on Friday and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
The pair are also being questioned on suspicion of involvement in three assaults involving firearms that occurred in the Creggan area of the city earlier this year.
The explosive device was left at the officer's home near Dungiven in April and was attached to a container of flammable liquid.
