Two men charged after £500k of cannabis seized in Belfast
Two men have been charged with drug offences after £500,000 cannabis was seized in Belfast.
The drugs were discovered following a search of two properties in the city on Monday. A large quantity of cash was also seized during the search.
The men, aged 26 and 33, have been charged with a number of offences, including possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply, importing a controlled drug, converting criminal property, possessing criminal property, possession of a false identity document without reasonable excuse and illegal entry to United Kingdom.
They are expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
