Two men charged after attack on cyclist in Belfast city centre

Two men have been charged in connection with the assault of a cyclist in Belfast city centre.

The incident happened on Waring Street, near to the junction with Victoria Street, at around 2.30pm on Monday.

Two men, aged 22 and 28, have been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

Both men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
