Two men charged with Belfast city centre attack
Two men have been charged with GB with intent after a man was left in hospital following a serious assault in Belfast city centre in the early hours of Friday morning.
The incident took place in the Gordon Street area of Belfast.
The men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Adam Ruston said: “Shortly after 1:30 am a man in his 30s was attacked close to licenced premises in this vicinity.
"The man suffered head injuries as a result of the attack and is currently in hospital receiving treatment where his condition is described as serious."
