
A cyclist and a driver have died following two separate road accidents
Paul Connolly (51), from Jonesborough in Co Armagh, died yesterday following a crash between a car and a van on the Dublin Road in Newry shortly after 9am.
The smash happened between the Cloghe roundabout at the Forkhill Road and the border.
Meanwhile, a cyclist, injured during a crash in Lisburn on Sunday, has died from his injuries.
Donal Lucey, from Clonkeen in Co Kerry, was hit by a car on the Old Ballynahinch Road.
The 48-year-old was taken to hospital with critical injuries but died last night.
