Two seriously injured in Enniskillen lorry collision

Two men have been seriously injured after their car was involved in a collision with a lorry in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh.

Both were rushed to the Erne Hospital and later transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

The passenger of the car was said to be critically ill, while the driver was described last night as serious but stable.

The accident happened on the Derrylin Road at about 12.45pm yesterday. The men, who were trapped in the car, were freed from the wreckage by the Fire and Rescue Service.
