Two teenagers held over 'drugs link' death of 15-year-old girl in Portadown

Two teenagers have been arrested over the death of a 15-year-old girl from suspected drug use in Portadown, police said.

She died in hospital after being reported unconscious in a woodland area of Corcrain on Saturday night.

A 19-year-old and 17-year-old man were arrested by PSNI on Monday in connection with her death.

Chief inspector Joe McMinn previously said "a possible link to drugs" was a line of enquiry in the investigation.

He said there was a large number of young people in the Corcrain area when police arrived and appealed to anyone who was there and had information to contact them.
