A 32-year-old man has been committed for trial on charges of inciting child sexual activity and arranging to commit an offence of a sexual nature.
Michal Paraszkiewicz of O'Neill Park, Cookstown appeared in the dock of Dungannon Magistrates Court yesterday accused of two offences involving a female child on August 15, 2015.
It is alleged he intentionally arranged to meet with the child for sexual purposes and incited her to engage in sexual activity.
A prosecution lawyer told the court there is a case to answer which was agreed by District Judge John Meehan. Paraszkiewicz was returned for trial to Dungannon Crown Court.
Although in custody on an unrelated matter, due for release in December, a defence barrister requested his client be considered on bail to allow him to be eligible for home leave in due course. This was granted and Judge Meehan listed arraignment to take place on August 29.
