Ulster Hall boxing exhibition packs punch
History of Boxing – a new Ulster Hall exhibition – celebrates the venue's boxing legacy.
The opening of this exhibition also heralds the imminent arrival of the 2013 World Police and Fire Games boxing competitions to the venue.
Rinty Monaghan, Wayne McCullough and Barry McGuigan head up a long list of local greats to attain legendary status in the boxing ring of the Ulster Hall, masters of the sport who have gone on to elevate Ulster boxing on to the world stage.
The History of Boxing exhibition showcases these boxing stars and concentrates the spotlight on a host of other home-grown stars including Hugh Russell, John McNally, Johnny Caldwell, Freddie Gilroy and Davy Larmour.
The History of Boxing exhibition is open Monday-Saturday (9am-5pm) and admission is free.
