UUP unease at case's collapse

UUP justice spokesman Tom Elliott says there are questions to be answered by the director of the Public Prosecution Service after his decision to drop terrorism charges against a man accused of being a Real IRA leader.

Kevin Barry Murphy (41), from Altmore Park in Coalisland, had been charged in relation to a bomb-making factory discovered in south Armagh.

Mr Elliott said the decision “has been a cause for concern for many people in Tyrone, and indeed throughout Northern Ireland,” adding: “I hope that Barra McGrory can shed some light on this matter.”
