Cars have been damaged in north Belfast in the latest in a "steady stream of sectarian attacks", a DUP MLA has said.
William Humphrey said there was "a sustained and forceful attack" on cars in the lower Oldpark area early on Sunday.
Wing mirrors were ripped off six cars in Shannon Street and on the Oldpark Road, he said.
Windscreens and side windows were smashed on two other vehicles.
Part of the attack at 3.40am on Sunday was captured on camera and the perpetrators were seen to proceed up the Oldpark Road into the nationalist Marrowbone area afterwards, Mr Humphrey claimed.
"Both residents and I are in no doubt that there was a sectarian motive to these deliberate acts of vandalism," he said.
"They are part of a steady stream of sectarian attacks upon properties and vehicles in the Protestant lower Oldpark area."
He said many of the victims have disabilities and rely on their cars to attend appointments.
