Vandals damage seven vehicles in south Belfast

Seven vehicles have been damaged during a spate of criminal damage in south Belfast.

Police are appealing for information after the vandalism happened at three separate locations in the early hours of yesterday morning.

It was reported to police at around 5.15am that the windows of three cars parked in Alfred Street had been smashed, while three cars sitting in Hardcastle Street also had their windows broken. The window of a coach parked in the area of Apsley Street was smashed and a DVD player and sat nav stolen.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or with any information to contact them at Lisburn Road on 0845 600 8000."
