Victim of Belfast stabbing is hospitalised
A man was being treated in hospital last night after a stabbing in Belfast city centre.
Police said they received a report at around 6.15pm on Tuesday that a man had been found in Great Victoria Street with what was believed to be a stab wound.
Pictures from the scene showed a bloody knife on the ground outside the Europa Buscentre.
The Air Ambulance was despatched to the scene and the victim was transported to hospital for treatment.
Police said they were working to establish the circumstances of the incident and how the man sustained his injuries.
