Video: Belfast singer Fiona O'Kane's sweet and beautiful 'condom song'

A sweet and beautiful song by a young Belfast singer has been used in a popular advertisement for condoms - already clocking up millions of views online.

The serene and dulcet vocals of Fiona O'Kane - from indie group Runaway Go - have been used in an advertisement by condom brand Durex.

The clip - which features couples 'switching off their tech to turn on' has already reached  over five million hits since going live on YouTube.

The ad helps mark 'Earth Hour' - an event whereby thousands of people across the globe are encouraged to 'turn off the lights' in order to save energy and help raise a number of environmental issues.

Singer Fiona O'Kane is part of Belfast-based four piece Runaway Go.

Fronted by joint vocalists Dave Jackson and Fiona O'Kane, the group is joined Chris Jackson on bass and James Lappin on guitar.

Earth Hour takes place on March 29 between 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
