Video: Emergency services attend fire in west Belfast

The building has suffered a partial roof collapse

Emergency services are currently attending a fire in West Belfast.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at around 10pm to the blaze at the former Brooke Lodge Bar in the Twinbrook area.

NIFRS Brian Stanfield said there are two fire appliances and an aerial platform in attendance with around 12 firefighters and an officer present.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are in the building fighting the blaze.

The building has suffered a partial roof collapse.

At present no residents in the surrounding area are believed to have been evacuated.
