Video: Rangers and Celtic fans clash at Belfast City Airport

Travelling Rangers and Celtic fans clashed on Sunday night in a heated dispute at Belfast City Airport.

An argument broke out at Belfast City Airport between fans after Rangers won through to the William Hill Scottish Cup final with a 5-4 sudden-death penalty shoot-out victory over Celtic at Hampden Park.

Onlookers watched on as security intervened in a bid to keep the peace.

A man wearing a Celtic shirt is seen arguing with other fans as security step in to separate them.

At one point a taller man dressed in a dark jumper intervenes and appears to strike out at him with his elbow.

They are then all escorted out of the building.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police received a report of an altercation between a number of people at Belfast City Airport around 9.30pm on Sunday April 17.

"Police attended and spoke with a number of people and enquiries are continuing."
