Video: Teen arrested after mass brawl outside west Belfast dance music event

Footage has emerged online of a mass brawl outside a dance music event in west Belfast.

Police have confirmed one 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly behaviour.

He was interviewed and later released, pending a report to the youth diversion officer - who is responsible for a scheme aimed at diverting young people away from crime.

The fight appears to start after two males, one of who is shirtless, confront a third individual.

A woman then appears to confront a second group situated a few feet away, at which point one of the males in the group tries to get another male in a headlock and the violence erupts.

One of the males in the group is held while being punched repeatedly, while a number of people try and pull the fight apart.

The fight breaks up, and the a number of males pursue each other through stopped traffic, before police arrive on the scene and appear to arrest one of those involved.

The fight happened on the Falls Road, after the Planet Love event taking place at the event space in Falls Park.
