Video: Thousands descend on Scarva for annual Sham Fight
It was very much a two-horse race in Scarva today as thousands descended on the Co Down village for the annual Sham Fight.
Thousands of spectators flocked to see the yearly reenactment of the Battle of the Boyne of 1690.
The event was organised by the senior loyal order, the Royal Black Preceptory.
Around 4000 members of the Royal Black Preceptory and 90 bands paraded to the Demesne outside the village before the mock battle between King William and King James.
The result, hardly a surprise after over 300 years, as King William put King James to the sword to claim victory.
