Wanted: Digger driver for turtle pond at Northern Ireland animal centre

A Northern Ireland animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to help build a pond for its turtles.

Posting on social media, Almost Home Animal Rescue NI in Moria said it needs a digger and operator to dig a hole for the pond.

"We are in desperate need of someone to come and dig a hole for our new pond," they explained.

"We have had a huge terrapin arrive, he’s been living in a lake for the last few years and is huge! That’s us up to 16 with 3 more needing space.
