Watch: A look inside Belfast Zoo as animals cool off in the heat

The Belfast Telegraph is visiting Belfast Zoo on Friday to see how the animals are coping in the heat.

The Zoo has undertaken a number of measures to keep the animals cool as temperatures in Northern Ireland with temperatures pushing 30C over the last week.

We first visited the Lemur area where they were given ice lollies to cool off in the heat.

We then headed to the Lions enclosure where they were served iced oxtail, shin and heart.

A Tamworth pig was then slathered in factor 50 sun cream to keep him safe in the heat.
