Watch: Cow invasion at BBC Nolan's 'Fantasy Island' home
Broadcaster Stephen Nolan got a shock on Wednesday morning when a herd a cows attempted to invade his home.
The presenter took to social media to share footage of the bizarre incident, which shows around a dozen cows peaking in through his patio windows as he bangs on the door in a bid to shoo them away.
His alarm is then triggered and Mr Nolan runs outside - in only his boxers - attempting to chase the cattle off his property.
I thought I was getting raided by the British army . I woke up to sound of heavy footsteps and banging on my door. Cows broke into my site. Set off alarms, which sent call to security team. Total mayhem . Dirty brutes. I’m furious pic.twitter.com/n7FpIh74TN— Stephen Nolan (@StephenNolan) May 29, 2019
He eventually manages to corral the herd into a nearby field.
"I actually thought I was getting raided by the army or something," he said.
"The cows from somewhere around my house had broken into my site and were eating my plants, trampling all over my flowers. So I bounced out of my bed, screaming at these things.
"It's ridiculous. Then the alarms went off, so the security company sent a security team out. And these cows are just staring at me."
