The decision of which bunch of flowers to pick can often prove a head-scratcher.

But not for one pup.

Over the weekend a dog was caught on the CCTV of a Portrush Maxol station scampering away with an entire display of flowers.

It looked to have been tied to the stand as its owner visited the shop.

The footage shows the pup have a quick glance around before gently easing the stand away from a wall before putting the 'petal to the metal' and taking off.

Moments later a staff member can be seen dashing out of the store after the pet in hot pursuit.

He managed to catch the dog - named Archie - just before he was able to reach the road and unbeknown to his owner.

The Facebook posts have been watched over 200,000 times.

The store said the pet was not hurt and soon reunited with its owner.

"Just couldn't decide on what flowers to pick," said the Maxol in its Facebook post.

No Dogs were hurt 😂
