Watch: Man interviewed after car speeds down hard shoulder in Northern Ireland

A file is being prepared for the Public Prosecution Service after a man was interviewed about a video that showed a driver going the wrong way down a road in Northern Ireland.

It happened on the Ballybogey Road in Ballymoney, when a driver went against oncoming traffic on Thursday, June 27 at around 8am.

The incident was caught on camera and shows a blue car which is possibly a BMW.

“Had this car struck a vehicle, it could have had catastrophic consequences and I would urge the driver of this vehicle to come forward to us," said PSNI Sergeant Robert Ennis.

"We would like to thank the public for their assistance in our appeal for information," he said.
