Weather: Will Northern Ireland see any sunshine as UK temperatures to soar this weekend

Parts of the UK may be set for a few days of extra heat but Northern Ireland isn't expecting to feel too much of the benefits.

The mainland UK is set to experience warm sunshine with reports of temperatures soaring to 23 degrees.

But the Met Office said that Northern Ireland is "always in the zone where there will still be some cloud around".

It will be broadly dry for Friday and Saturday with the temperatures staying in the low teens reaching 13 or 14 degrees.

Saturday brings more in the way of sunshine and is expected to be a fine day weather wise.

Temperatures will reach mid teens of 15 to 16 degrees.

Sunday is expected to become a bit chilly again but will start off brightly with clear skies.

However the bright start will turn more cloudy as the day goes on with some rain coming in bringing a duller look to the day.
