White paint thrown at Northern Ireland church in sectarian hate crime
White paint was thrown in the grounds of a Northern Ireland church in an incident being treated by police as a sectarian hate crime.
Damage was caused to the car park of Crumlin Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Crumlin sometime overnight between Sunday and Saturday.
Sergeant Chris Tate said: “The incident is being treated as a sectarian hate crime and I would appeal to anyone who has any information about the incident or who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact officers in Antrim on 101 quoting reference number 567 29/07/18.
"Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
