Window smashed as petrol bomb thrown at house in Coleraine

The front window of a house has been smashed after a petrol bomb which failed to ignite was thrown at it.

The incident happened at around 11pm on Thursday December 4 at a house in the Ballysally Road in Coleraine.

Detective Constable Vicki Green said: "Around 11 pm, it was reported the front window of a property was smashed and a petrol bomb, which failed to ignite, thrown in. A woman in her thirties was in the property at the time.

"I appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact CID at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.

"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
