A District Judge has described as “awful” the behaviour of a single mother who urinated on a street and who then exposed herself to members of the public.
Demi Logue (20), from Cross Street in the Waterside area of Londonderry, admitted the offences at the city's Magistrates Court yesterday.
A prosecution solicitor told District Judge Barney McElholm that the offences took place at Queen's Quay on June 8. He said Logue dropped her trousers to her ankles, urinated and then stood up in full view of a number of people.
When members of a passing police patrol arrested her, she became aggressive and shouted sectarian abuse at them.
Mr McElholm said Logue was in breach of a conditional discharge imposed on her two years ago.
He released her on bail of £350 and adjourned sentencing until August 17.
