Woman and man stabbed with broken bottle at house in east Belfast

A man and woman have been stabbed with a broken bottle during an early morning attack at a house in east Belfast.

The incident happened at Templemore Avenue area in the early hours of Sunday morning.

At around 3.10am police received a report that two people had been stabbed.

A 19-year-old man and a woman, aged 24, were found to have been injured when police attended the scene.

It's thought their injuries were caused by a broken bottle.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police have appealed for information.
