Woman attacked by three females in Portadown

A woman has been attacked by three females during an assault in Portadown.

It's understood the victim - in her early 20s - was attacked by three women some time between 11pm and midnight in the Bridge Street area of the town on Friday night.

The women remains in hospital being treated for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

It's understood a passing female driver stopped to take the injured victim home to the Markethill area.

Police have said the alleged attackers were "all adults - one with red/ginger coloured hair".

They are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
