A woman headbutted a woman in a nightclub then punched and pulled a policewoman by the hair after being ejected, Coleraine Magistrates Court has heard.
Hannah Elizabeth McGill (21), of Ballywillin Road, Portrush, was put on probation for a year and told to undergo anger management after the incident at Kelly's nightclub in the seaside town.
Police saw the defendant screaming at door staff after being ejected and then lashing out at an officer and pulling her to the ground, gripping her hair and punching her.
McGill had previously pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly behaviour, assault, assault on police, resisting police and criminal damage.
District Judge Liam McNally said her behaviour was "nothing short of appalling".
